Infection Prevention in Nursing Homes


Description
This infection prevention course is for all staff in nursing homes and is composed of six modules on the following topics: Breaking the Chain of Infection, Multidrug-Resistant Organisms, Injection Safety and Glucometer Care, Environmental Cleaning, Urinary Tract Infections, Preventing Clostridioides difficile. All six modules must be completed before proceeding to the course evaluation and course completion certificate. A total of 3.60 continuing nursing education contact hours are provided upon completion of all 6 modules. Partial credit is not available.
